Reading from Raj’s blog

I have just posted the same content in comments from raj’s blog here. After Reading a lot of our blogs and brainstorming (still on) I would like to add here an effort by one of my friends, Who is (I feel trying) to give a solution. This fellow Ravindra rao from AP has taken up the cause of giving children their rights, and u know how wonderfully he does this. Theres an answer for the midday meals scams and all other such things.  Look at the Pic in the link attatched to his name above he’s the person and observe that he has a pic of the inspiring president of India Dr Abdul kalam.

Its in Warangal Dist (Waradannapet mandal), what he does is collect the +1 and +2 students and talk to them (just a chat at the tea centers) and they are now his fan following. The next step is he would take them to the Govt schools and show them the place around without much fanfare.

Here the fire is lit (u might have noticed the Spark would already be there in us) and the solution he gives is to daily walk up to the village in 2’s / 3’s and write down the Statistics of the day (attendence both teachers and students) that way without spelling a word he’s created a fear psychosis (sorry no vernaculars its my expression) in the erring teachers and village elders, drew their attention to the school and the farms where there’s erring elders.

Today in over 100 schools without much fanfare, this single handed effort is improving the lives of children. Erring employers, faulting teachers, fraudulent village elders all are falling in line. He calls his effort “VANDEMATARAM FOUNDATION” and its just over an year by the end of Oct is all this success story is about. The Dist administration is standing up to the man’s efforts and taking note of their duties as watchdog.

You just have to keep ur eyes open to find an answer / solution… there are many around.
