Mr Venkat a producer of the Telugu films is an exception and odd man out.
There was an anonymous call from some Suresh saying they are willing to donate Rs. 50,000/- to social agencies for community development. The People at the administrative office of Seva Bharathi were a bit puzzled and thought it were some kinda practical Joke. But a few hours later there was another caller this time from their own organisation Keshava Seva Samithi saying somebody from RR Film makers has come and collected the profile and details of the Orphanage that they were running.
When the RR Film makers were contacted they confirmed the news and extended a formal warm invitation for the function.
In a rare and commendable gesture, the Producers of the Film BAHUMATHY on their Audio release function Donated Rs. 50,000/- to Keshava Seva Samithi (A Unit of Seva Bharathi). Talking on the eve of the Audio release Mr S V Krishna Reddy appreciated the role of Non Governmental agencies in charitable work and Community development.
The Producer Mr Venkat was anonymous by missing in the function but his action spoke louder when he decided to donate Rs. 5 lakh for community development prorammes as well as needy people suffering from chronic diseases or emergency medical aid. Keshava Seva Samithi runs Single teacher schools in Andhra pradesh as well as runs a home for the destitutes at Moulali, The Vatsalya Sindhu. The organisation runs the Schools in the most remote and needy parts of the world. The remote rural areas and the tribal hamlets as well as the slums of the urban landscape.
The cheque was presented by Mr Venu Madhav the comedian hero and the co-producer Mr Suresh Reddy. He expressed happiness for being the medium for the charitable activity.
