A decade of Kargil

It is wonderful to celebrate the Vijay Diwas .. But if its drawn into politics of Congress govt Vs BJP Govt wars cant be political atleast domestic politics should be kept away. God how can u differentiate the martyrs again on basis of this Govt and that Govt gimme a break they are soldiers and they have died for the Country fighting for us all of us. They didnt die for the damn bloody party.
Hope the political class understands such..

To commemorate 10 years of the Kargil war, Abhishek Bachchan travelled to Drass and Kargil (where most of the war was fought), to Abhishek Bachchan visit the jawans.

Bachchan Junior was joined by many soldiers for an evening full of emotional turns and lilting poetry. Nearly 300 soldiers from far flung places around Drass, many having walked a treacherous distance from their remote outposts to be part of this special evening, were duly rewarded with a simple yet poignant gift. Abhishek presented his illustrious poet-grandfather late Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s soul-stirring poem, Agneepath, calligraphed by Amitabh Bachchan on a specially designed mount board to the jawans. He recited the poem to the rivetted audience that magical evening. The poem penned during India’s struggle for freedom is Abhishek’s personal favourite and echoes the spirit of sacrifice and valour that this gathering of jawans embodied.
